I've always thought that a Citizen's Community Credit Union and pooled Liability Insurance Corporation for city residents would be a great idea.

Give some benefit to living in the city, and maybe take the bite out of some parasitic local businesses like the check cashing joints and salary loan sharks.

My bet is that residency will immediately jump as people don't have a strong economic reason to have a second address for insurance and tax purposes. Anyone with a brain, flexible ethics, and opportunity is using another address to avoid the insurance redlining.

The insurance company would be tougher than the credit union, but it would be so-o great to have those legislated personal expenditures captured by a local company so they are not so thoroughly siphoned out of the area.

Getting one of the candidates behind this endeavor would be great...anyone care to step up to bat?!
