So KING KWAME cried " wee, wee, wee!" Well your highness. I don't think that rest of Detroiters and suburbanites can't hear you. You got to go and that's it. Go back to your thug life and stay out of politics for a while until you grow up. |

Kwame is playing his first ace early - The Prodigal Son. He's banking that this approach will go over well with the Detroit church congregations. Surely the majority of church going Detroiters will be able to see the difference between a prodigal son and a cynical, hard-nosed election campaigner attempting to wrap himself with the cloak of re-discovered purity? |

I have to imagine this tactic couldn't work, but you never know! That's the scary thing. No matter how much Sharon may make sense, elections are about emotions alot of the time. Look at how Bushy won getting people all hopped-up mad about Gay Marriage!!! |

Go tell all those preachers at their press conference. I think Horace Sheffield, who used to be featured on Mildred's show, is not alone in his support. Mildred and others went to far in their criticisms. Now they have unleashed an angry community and Kwame's political attacks. They are already attacking Freman on his open, visual role in the school takeover. While folks say Kwame was responsible, he was smart enough not to sign the legislation. BUT Hendrix asked to be chairman and the video shows him having women and seniors dragged out. Women and seniors were pepper sprayed, and the police treated them like terrorists disrupting their clothing and manhandling women who did nothing but sit in protest. They were not the ones screaming. But they were the strongest critics of Hendrix. |

Brian, enough already with this repeated crap about Hendrix removing old ladies from the reform board meetings. These folks refused to step aside when their time was up and continued to be disruptive. They brought security upon themselves for not being civil. There were other ways they could have protested their cause. So, Brian, the meeting is supposed to come to a complete halt and nothing is to be done because of some disruptive individuals who had their time to speak and get their concern out? If they can't leave on their own, then there's no other choice but to have them removed by security. If security comes and they want to plop down like a two-year old having a tantrum, then they leave security no choice but to physically remove them. If they want to resist and be embarrassed, then that's on them. They were given plenty of warnings to move along. What would you have done as chairman, Brian? I've seen the videos of many of these meetings. These women and seniors were being disruptive and non-compliant, plain and simple. It wasn't like someone said they had two minutes to voice their concerns and Hendrix cut them off at 30 seconds. No, they wanted to go over their allotted time. If I was chairman I would have had them escorted by security and if they resisted they would have been physically removed. Would it have been better if Hendrix had called the police and then have them physically remove the disruptive women and seniors. At least then the blame would fall on the police and not the security force of the reform school board. Brian, do try and answer my question on what you would have done. It's safe and easy to sit back and judge someone's actions without putting yourself in their shoes. I sincerely hope you make the attempt to put yourself in the role of chairman of the reform board during these incidents. It may help you to stop being so one-sided with you claims. However, I seriously doubt it. |

I was in the store when that ad came on and people in the store started laughing at the mayor. Saying that he is lying his azz off, kwame knows good and well that the first family was not living in the Mangooian Mansion when that 2002 party happened there. The home was being renovated for the new first family. Personally, I don't think that's a good ad to start off his campaign with. |
