Kwame Kilpatrick.

Until today, I really forgot that this newspaper was in existence. Somebody at my job was passing them out...(for free even). I guess they really want to get the word out. Even though I don't support the newspaper(or candidate) I am still wondering what you all get out of this.

I don't think they've updated their website to match their current publication. I searched it for a bit and found no mention of an endorsement.

I hadn't forgotten about the paper itself, as there is usually a very well-dressed man passing them out at Harbortown Market every day, but I hadn't thought about who they whould endorse, nor have I ever read the paper.

Then the Michigan Chronicle had made a bad mistake or endorsing the HIP HOP mayor.

The Chronicle is so fickle, though I do support it over-all as a publication. Their views wane across the gammut of possibilities.

How does the same publication endorse John Engler and Kwame Kilpatrick?

Oh, I'm sorry - diversity. I know the time span is a bit wide between the two, but still.

Later - naturalsister

Rose...believe it or not. It was not on the website today. I saw it on the weekly headline at work.

Actually Hendrix is the conservative in this race...surprised they did not endorse him unless it was because of the school take over?

ild, no doubt. I was thinking the exact same thing. By the way, I had the pleasure to hear Sharon speak on property taxes this afternoon. And unlike other candidates, she took the time out to speak with the citizens.

I was at a press conference on the west side of Detroit. She was speaking on the differences of taxes paid on a street that is split by two cities.

And yes it was on TV2 news today

I do believe so as well. Whats so sad is that the other candidates get so much money from outside sources(suburbs, contractors, etc) that the general public gets bombarded by these ritzy campaign ads, unsolicited flyers in the mail an so on. I believe Sharon means what she says and should be given the chance to implement her plan.
