Add in the top CC vote getters as:

Candidate Votes Percent
Ken K. Cockrel,Jr.  33,971 14%
Maryann Mahaffey  31,230 13%
Jo Ann Watson  27,556 11%
Sheila S. Cockrel  26,349 10%
Barbara-Rose Collins  24,057 10%
Alberta Talabi  23,777 9%
Kwame Kenyatta  20,223 8%
Martha Reeves  16,318 6%
Monica Conyers  15,138 6%
Ortheia Barnes  13,568 5%
Alonzo Bates  7,563 4%

Glad that Kwame Kenyatta is up ther ebut how long are Detroiters going to keep re-electing the same people.

Martha Reeves and Alonzo Bates especially get some WTFs. Obviously they haven;t counted my precinct because some people are oddly showing up with 0 votes.

Name recognition is still alive and well in this city. Time for me to change my name to jt1 Kilpatrick-Cockrel-Mahaffey. I should win in a fucking landslide.

I do find it hard to believe that everyone else has a total of 0 votes. Jackie at work?

You and I both. Funny, I'm more concerned about this election than the presidential election. Looking forward to November!

Not funny. You should be more worried. This has a direct impact on your everyday existence.

Your quality of of life can be affected by DC, but directly effected by decisions made locally.

I think your numbers include on 56% of precincts reporting? They look like what I just saw minutes ago on Clickondetroit.com. The others can't be zero, but maybe they are just currently statistically zero until all votes are counted.

"Your quality of of life can be affected by DC, but directly effected by decisions made locally."

Hey bro, I've survived over 3 years of the current 3 ring circus. I'm sure any change would be an improvement.

If all you want is change, well you are guaranteed that. Personally, I would prefer improvement. That last nine sucked. And not well.
Nothing worse than a bad suck. Its like oh, please stop, and go, NOW! LOL

Thanks for the laugh Jmil. I needed it after seeing this nonsense. Funny that the other people have a total of 0 votes listed. I would think that someone would have voted for themselves.

Something isn;t right with the polling results or the voters.

What bothers me is the fact that the next president of Detroit City Council could be the same person who said of the possibility of restoring the Michigan Central Station... "why do they want to restore that old dinasaur"...

Those numbers are about right.

I just left a party and saw the 79% figures. The city council is all names that you have heard before.

For clerk, it looks like Janice Winfrey edged out 2nd place to face off against Curry.

If you want to get the numbers head down to the city clerks office, its rather lively down there.
