Yeah because HENDRIX said he will fight McPhail's Resolution (that KK is supporting) to have residency requirements again! Of course they are not endorsing...just one more thing that Henrix AKA Archer in short pants are doing to US again.

Did you really just come in here and insult firefighters? So, when your house is burning down, who do you expect to save your ass?

After the proposed layoffs who would you expect Police and Fire to support? I think it has much less to do with trying to reinstitute residency that it does the current mayors last 4 years and more specifically, putting employees out the door

It is the residency. They all packed their bads and fled the city - now they don't want to come back to place that pays them.

I have it narrowed down. ILD is either Bob Berg, Adolph Mongo, or a illegitimate child of the two.

They all packed their bags and fled the city? Nice. Actually, a lot fled before and used mailing addresses way before residency changes. The only thing that has changed is they don’t get the property tax.

They still manage to impose city tax on the paycheck though.

Either way, if you are that worried that a police officer or firefighter doesn’t live next door try applying and becoming one.

I had a friend when I was a kid whose dad was a DFD fireman. I think he was higher up the administrative ladder, an officer of some kind. anyway. Whenever I'd call and they weren't home, there wasn't an answering machine to pick up. Why? Because it was their second home that they lived in and if the DFD found out that their residence in Detroit was a mailing address only, the dad would lose his job. All the while, they're living under the radar in the burbs.

Wasn't an uncommon thing, I've come to find out.

Aram you never said this to Helmut supporters who have criticized the DPD officers.

Ever since Jmil official came out as a Helmut supporter he has participated in the same attacks as others on this site. Previously he had refrained from such attacks. Is this what Helmut does to people?

Is the same being said about the many police officers being let go across the state or within the state police? I haven't seen any Helmut supporters mention this in their coordinated attacks. I wonder if Helmut has paid folks to support his rantings. Perhaps the way Bush paid folks to push his policy.

It was a grammatically ambiguous statement. That's why I asked it as a question. I wanted to make sure that's what you weren't trying to say. No harm, no foul. Back to our regularly scheduled bickering.

ILD, you made me laugh.... the Uzbek's were considered the "weakest link in the vast colossal expanse of mother Russia", under the Soviet Union. They were the butt of many jokes in the Steppes of Asia.
