So everyone can see what she said and the media did not show on why she endorsed Kilpatrick.

What?

I thought redbone was a name for the people of mixed Indian/French descent in Louisiana. I'm not even sure if that's a common term down there or a deragatory term. Sorry to anyone who is offended if it is.

There are four things that stand out in her announcement.

1) Shouldn't the endorsement be from sharon andbenny.com?

2) Why make the text so hard to read? All-caps and white text on a light background make for a difficult read.

3) What was the second reason why Young endorsed McPhail? Sharon states that Young endorsed her for two reasons, but only states one in her text.

Redbone is an expression describing a light complected woman of African American descent. Some consider it derogatory - some don't care. I ask my friend Krystal how she feels about it.

Krystal says she isn't offended.

A Redbone is a member of an ethnic group similar to that of the Melungeons. While Melungeons are sometimes considered a sub-group of Redbones, it is usually accepted that Redbones are located in Louisiana, while Melungeons are located further east in the United States.

While it is difficult to pin down a firm definition of what ethnic groups combine in a Redbone, or even to come to a consensus on a common appearance, they often have characteristics similar to those of Native American and African descent.

As a whole, the group is quickly disappearing, but has distinct cultural mechanisms which separate it from similar mixed ethnic groups. They are also found in Texas.

"Redbone - a term used to describe those who are half black or also light skinned black people"

Redbone was the name of the woman who testified against Budzyn and Nevers in the Malice Green trial. She passed away shortly after the trial.

McPhail's said once that her parents are both black but her grandfather was Scottish or Irish... So she is from the Northeast that makes her Melungeon? Her former husband is white and her daughter looks caucasion. So I still don't get the redbone comment...I guess it isn't bad then according to Naturalsister.

ALSO ROresident

Coleman A Young said that McPhail had the biggest balls he had ever seen and she would fight for Detroit like no other. That is the comment she won't repeat. He made it to the press (typical Coleman funnyism). Also must be your puter I can read it fine on mine?

Oh wait...I forgot this is the hypocrits' forum...sorry, my apologies.

btw... www.bennynapoleon.com works as well.

Look you'll kill me with this defending her like that your momma. We all are grown on this forum and can talk about whoever we want. If you don't like it, find another forum.

The problem that I have is the name calling shyt. What makes you so better than everyone else? Who are you to call me or anyone else out of our name? Will you'll still talk all that shyt after the election?

So what she endorsed Kilpatrick, so damn what?
