It occurred to me that giving a total number of posts may not provide an accurate picture of participation for the past calendar year, so while killing time while on holiday I calculated the top posters for the past 12 months. Kind of interesting to see the changes in placement. Let this be a lesson to everyone - you can't rest on your laurels! Keep those posts coming! A word on methodology: All 2004 stats were taken from last year's forum awards thread: https://www.atdetroit.net/forum/mes sages/11557/35852.html?1105335 861 2005 stats were taken from this year's thread when available. Total number of posts for millennium club were not given this year, so I just found everyone's closest post to new year's eve and used that number. If you weren't on last year's list but registered before 1/1/05, I used the same process to find your initial 2005 number. (It sounds like a lot of work but it was really not, thanks to the search feature). If you weren't listed on the 1000+ club this year I didn't include you - sorry! Take a look at these numbers though and you can toot your own horn if you're actually kicking ass with your post quantities. Enjoy! Hey Missnmich, sorry you aren't on there, but as I mentioned, if you weren't listed on this year's list, then I didn't include you in my totals. Everyone on this list has more than 1000 total posts, even if their 2005 posts fall below that. Unfortunately, there was no "master list" to work off of like 2004! | ||

Holy Mary Mother of God, people, read the fine print! a) Yes these are 2005 stats - Jan 1, 2005 to Dec 31, 2005, total number of posts. 2) If you were not mentioned on this year's list posted by Lowell, I did not calculate your numbers. Hence, gravitymachine, since you registered in May and have 728 posts, you are not on this year's Lowell list (which cuts off at 1000 total posts). III) There was no master list of poster names for me to work off of, so other than going through every thread and writing down names, which was not going to happen, there was no way for me to include everyone not on this year's Lowell list. * If you are not on this list it is not because I purposefully excluded you. Or maybe I did. Regardless, as I mentioned, toot your own horn for this year. But keep in mind that the people on this list have lifetime posting totals higher than yours, so don't get too big for your britches. OK, anyone who still can't understand this and is worked up obviously gets too much affirmation from having their name posted on a list. | ||
