At the forthcoming Cheesecake Factory, you will eventually be able to buy, I presume, cheesecake, that tasty, yet fatty taste treat. |

Indeed, you are correct. I have checked their website and the menu looks good, although I have never been inside one of these establishments myself. There is one about an hour away in Louisville down here in KY, and I hope to go check it out before summer is out. I am a big fan of cheesecake, so this is definitely a huge plus for me as an attraction in the Metro Detroit Area. Lexdetroitman_07 |

With all the tourists heading to Novi for the new Cheesecake Factory, perhaps a Four Seasons Resort-Novi is in order. |

I think we should bulldoze Tigers Stadium and build a Walmart/Ikea/CCF/ESPN Zone Complex... then ALL of Detroit's problems would be solved and people would move back in droves.. |

Boy, when that place makes it downtown, we'll know we've made it to the big times! |

If it's anything like the ones in LA, you'll wait 45 minutes with a bunch of trendy looking people in a very pretentious looking atmosphere, to get obscenely large portions of very mediocre food. I presume it's the large portions that have made the place popular. I won't go near this pathetic example of least common denominator food for the masses. |

I thought the Cheesecake Factory made little plastic models of factories that make cheesecakes. |

...don't forget to add a Starbucks/Home Depot/Hooters/Buffalo Wild Wings, with a light-rail/mass transit/rail-trail/electric cab stop!!! |

I think Detroit is going in the right direction with no Chessecake Factory. After all, the most vibrant city in the country-New York-- has not one but does have millions of folks walking and particitpating in urban life. So, keep it going Detroit and soon they will return. |

Philm - all true but the review on the food. I live part time in Naples, FL, and the one there is incredible. Plus, yes, the cheesecake is beyond decadent. Then again, gimme a Hooters and I'm a happy camper. |

For those living on the east side, we've enjoyed cheesecake from a place called "The Cheesecake Shoppe" for over 15 years. Their HQ was once on Mack in Grosse Pointe Woods (near City Hall), but I'm not sure where they moved to. They still make great cheesecakes. I find them at Mr. C's Deli (an eastside chain) all the time. |
