This might explain why scrappers have been going after everything lately, including buildings that haven't been touched in years like the Fisher 21 and historical markers. http://www.npr.org/templates/s tory/story.php?storyId=5505843 |

Cool, yeah, because the warehouse is getting full of all these damn pole-doors and sewer grates...I've been waiting for the market to peak. Heh. BS Aside, it is time for a sting operation...and if the city can seize enough scrap from these dealers buying up city assets they just might be able sell the 'future' use of it and use that money to close up the budget gap some. Between that and the parking ticket revenue, it's nothing but gravy for Kwame through the summertime. |

Perhaps, the scrappers should go North of 8 mile. It is amazing how much metal it just tossed in the trash in the suburbs: pipes, bikes, fence etc. Perhaps, I should start picking it up for cash! |
