I still regularly use the forum to keep updated with Detroit since I moved last August. Does anyone have the latest on Freman? I am amazed at how he has totally disappeared since the election. I know this will leave me open for a bunch of Freman-haters to provide their comments, but I am very curious why and how he has totally dropped of the face of Detroit (except for protecting his son - so I took one of the easy barbs away). |

I've heard he was at one point mulling over a run against Ficano for county exec, but blew all his cash on the mayoral race, so no go. |

I talked to his daughter (an aquaintence of mine) a lil while back and casually said, "I haven't seen your dad around or heard anything from him" she basically said well he's just doing his thing keeping busy... Good to see he has not popped up in any scandles etc these days. |

Didn't you hear? Freman Hendrix won the election. (No, not that election.) He was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Cross--Southeast Michigan Chapter in June. ( http://hometownlife.com/apps/p bcs.dll/article?AID=/20060706/ NEWS27/607060589/1027/NEWS10 ) The article lists him as president and CEO of Advanced Security & Investigative Solutions. |

Is Advanced Security & Investigative Solutions also known as the TV program CHEATERS or is this the same group that Fox 2 uses to assist with its undercover investigations? |
