Can't fit everything in. Maybe because stuff like Indian chants and South American has been a bit under-represented on the Detroit market radio playlist, as compared with country? (not sure about bluegrass)

Stay in Howell and you'll have plenty of it.

Do you need a Hoedown every week or something?

I didn't think Pacy could turn this topic into just another excuse to bitch, but by golly he pulled it off! Good work, Pacy.

I did think Itsjeff would turn this topic into a criticism of someone and he didn't disappoint! Good work, Itsjeff.

FYI,

One of the performers at the "diversity" festival is Alison Brown, a banjo player who has won numerous International Bluegrass Music Association awards, and a Grammy or two (in the bluegrass category).

Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks have been playing hippie-fied Western Swing for decades (yes, I know it's not Lee Greenwood, but probably closer to country acoustic roots).

Of course, last time I checked, Michael Franti and the Indigo Girls weren't invited to play at this Hoedown this year, so what exactly is your point?

Why do you all hate America and mass transit?

You're bright -- read your words and think about it, you'll get it.

No, it still comes across as babble.

But if you were trying to lump me into the same category as Pacy and Dillpickle - whose only purpose on this forum is to whine - then I disagree. The big difference is that I actually make positive contributions here from time to time. (And in Pacy's case, I am also semi-literate.)

Whiners have a place on this forum, too. Besides, what would you wash your cheese down with?

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! That was funny. Great graphic, used at the right time. Well done. Top drawer!
