While inching our way through Greektown, I noticed that the middle section of the third world Greektown parking garage has been demolished. It amazes me how much downtown has changed in the last 5 years.
I also drove by the constructions sites for the MGM Grand and the Motorcity casino. Those projects are really coming along. |

I was thinking today as well - as I walked around Downtown I was trying to remember what it was like 5 or even 10 years ago. If the next 5 are as dramatic - it will be truly amazing. |

The sightline veering onto Monroe from Randolph with the new 30-some story tower will be magnificent and redefine the urban landscape and excitement of Greektown and its surroundings! I can't wait for the grand opening!! |

Just think "Madison Lenox" only a few blocks over and that's what the site looks like. |
