Living out of the Detroit metro area, I am not able to get downtown very often, but often wonder about the progress of the MGM Grand Casino; to appease this wonderment is there a webcam similar to compuware that tracks the progress………if not, does anyone what updated pictures of the progress. The last I saw was the Ariel ones a month or two ago. |

Well, I don't have pictures, but it is ahead of schedule- it's shooting for October 2007, but they believe it will be open before that. They realistically think it will be open by August 2007. |

Originaly when Perini/LS Brinker where a joint venture for the project, a webcam was set up on top of the DTE building, it was operational and running on the perinibrinker web page, but then the contract was taken from Brinker (the local contractor), see attached article. http://www.lexdon.com/article/ Multi-Million-Dollar_Suit_File d_Against_MGM/25758.html I believe the cam is still installed on the building, but I'm not sure if is rerouted through another webpage. |
