I just heard the other day that the Tigers are on pace for 104 wins.

I remembered this thread a little bit later, curious to know what my prediction was. Holy crap, I predicted 104-58.

You should. I thought that 90 wins and an interesting run at the wildcard was a reasonable pick for this season. Now I think they'll have 105 wins, though.

Wow the amazing Kreskin graces us with his presence! Hell I said I'd be happy with a .500 season...

I wasn't exactly predicting but more along the lines of hoping for a .500+ season. I think I can be somewhat satisfied by now.

I am happy to say I got it wrong re the tigers (but it looks like I'm gonna be right re the # of wins for the WC).
81 wins (+-2). It will be a dull year which will seem exciting due to underperforming last season. ... It is gonna take years before the tigers compete for the top spot in their division. In terms of the wildcard, well with NY, BOS, CAL and OAK it is difficult to imagine the second place team from the Central taking the WC unless they win in the mid 90's. DET isn't capable of 95+ wins anytime soon.

What was the line in Las Vegas this spring for a Tiger WS victory this season? 100-1??

What I meant was, ya see, well, I mean...if the Tigers, ahhh, blah blah..only if...in otherwords, I meant 75 wins only...well I mean, If Chicago and Minnesota compete...then they will only win 75 games.

I hope that explains why I predicted only 75 wins:-)

As evidenced by my 75-87 prediction, I'm shocked by their performance this year. No way I thought their pitching staff would be this good. I probably would have predicted even less wins if you had told me Maroth would miss most of the season.

Aww heck, if we're all served up a healthy dose of crow for doubting our Tigers, let's belly up to the table and dine away.

If we're this horribly wrong with our predictions and our Tigers faring so well, I don't want to be right.

I knew the Tigers would win more than 81 games, but I made my prediction 79-83 so as not to give them bad luck. I see my work paying off!

We Tiger fans have been served up pessimism pie for about the last ten years or so with our team stinking up the place. It's natural we were all going to keep our predictions and expectations low.

Now that it's starting to look good, dare anyone try predicting post season results???
