Is it "closed" for remodeling or shut down for service to minors??

It will re-open with a slightly different and more upbeat atmoshphere and will be called The Continental. It is owned now by the owners of Envy who are also working on the Bankers Trust Building (Panacea).

I went down there yesterday and they appeared to be in the tear-down stage. I guess it's possible that they won't re-open, but the guy did give me a definite date.

I hope they tweek their lunch menu. What they have is good, but it'd be nice to have more options.

Are we talking about Congress Cafe? If so, when did they sell?

I went to elementary school with the former(?) owner, if it is Congress Cafe.

You must have been in my class. High school year '92?

My full name is Ron Liscombe.

Good friends (at the time) with Tony Dixon, Brian Dunn, Chris O'Brien, Alex Hurley, Ellen Black (class of '91). I recently ran into Darwin Segar, and Talibah (can't remember her last name).

Small world, huh?
