Manny now a Blue Note Now, as much as I love the Wings, watch him carry the Blues all the way to the Cup this coming season!!!! (For those that don't know, St. Louis GM John Davidson is a former NHL goalie...maybe he saw something the other 29 teams (28 minus Detroit!) didn't see that would explain the long period between his declaring free agency & the blues signing!!!). | ||

Hmmm... do I see John Davidson as possibly the Matt Millen of the NHL? The similarities are they're both former athletes, both were in the broadcast booth and now they land a managerial position without any previous experience. The Blues aren't going too far. | ||

The Blues are a horrible team right now, Manny will help them about as much as Fedorov helped the Bluejackets-a little flash now and then, but for the most part nothing. | ||

One thing is for sure................ Manny will get a mighty lot of chances to prove he is a good goalie under pressure. We'll see how he does without a prominent defensive line like Lidstrom, Fischer, Chelios and others. |
