Just curious; My wife and I go to Belle Isle once or twice every week and there are usually 5 or 6 patrol cars parked outside the station but we seldom ever see one on patrol on the island. Perhaps there aren't enough Police on duty to man the cars. Any thoughts?

I see the cops patroling the island often, in some cases ticketing a driver.

The last time I was there (beginning of summer) I saw a couple of cars patrolling. Before I left I saw them stop and question a group of younger guys. They were definitely active and visible.
