OK, I was walking south along Gullen Mall towards Warren w/ my roommate as we were looking for something to eat when all of the sudden the WSU cops surrounded this dude w/ a backpack, drew their weapons, forced the man to the ground at gunpoint, and cuffed him. They started going through the guy's backpack, but we didn't stick around to see what the deal was (we were hungry!). Anybody else have any idea what this might have been about? I'll tell ya, the WSU cops didn't play around! |

Overdue library books. With the fall term starting soon, those damn things have got to be on the shelves. |

Criminals who operate on the WSU campus will often wear backpacks so that they appear to be students and won't draw as much suspicion. He might have been a B&E suspect, B&Es on campus building after dark are fairly common. |

If the cops are doing their job and doing it with some form of professionalism and competance- more power to them. |
