Ok, so perhaps that's wishful thinking. The Shock will play their final game in their championship series in downtown Detroit at Joe Louis on Saturday. I have to figure there must have been a scheduling conflict of some sort at the Palace. I really have little desire to go, but always said, if they played downtown I'd check out a game. Anybody gone to any of the games this year?

Having just looked at the shock website, what's with all the blowouts? The point differential for the 4 games has been 24, 10, 20, and 20.

Here's hoping they bring another championship to Detroit.

Its been a good series, I've checked out a couple of games.

The blow outs are sort of typical with these two teams against each other as they match up well.

Sacremento is like the Spurs, consistent and play an above average game.

The Shock are like the Pistons, when they are hot, they cant be stopped. But they are mercurial and can run the range from hot to luke warm.

I think that this will be a classic battle and the Joe will be rockin'that night. As it always is, the Joe is the home of champions.....

note: the previous page said that the tickets were not currently for sale, but it appears like you can actually purchase seats.

I'm taking my mom to the game. Last night, I went online and bought 4th row seats for sixty bucks each. IIRC, the most expensive seats were around $150, and the cheap seats were only ten bucks. (Not counting Ticketmaster fees and the like.)

I went to purchase tickets and noticed two different pricing structures for the exact same ticket. Can any explain to me why the "Shock the Joe" Tickets are cheaper??

Can you go get tickets at teh Joe and avoid the ticketmaster fee? I brought tickets prices up yesterday and saw they were tacking $7.50 per ticket on, and that's on top of a $2.50 building fee.

Too bad they add so much in charges!

Walked over to box office at the Joe. All reserved seating is sold out. Got $10 general admission tickets for the upper level for $12.50 including the building surcharge. :-)

Ahh, I wondered how the joe would earn cash from the event. I would guess Davidson also had to pay set amount to use the facility...

Big UP to the Shock for winning their second title. The game seemed much more hype in the Joe.
