Which is better for parking for a Tiger Game tonight. I know Harry's is free and has a shuttle. The michigan is $5.00 Now I look at it as the michigan is closer and go to Cheli's. No waiting for or cramming into shuttles. Give me some advise guys. Thanks |

LMAO, A shuttle from Harry's? give me a break. It's a mere 3 blocks from Harry's to the ball park. The word pathetic comes to mind. |

I always loved my 'secret' parking garage: the Grand Circus Underground. Before they jacked the rates to $10, you literally parked underneath $25+ surface lots for $5! I still park there even with the $10 price. |

The only advantage to Harry's; you can order a tasty beverage upon your arrival. MI theatre is a good choice, but all you get is parking. |

A couple other options - You can usually find a spot around Bookies before the game. Then you could take there shuttle. Or park at Compuware garage and have a drink at Hard Rock. They will validate your ticket. |

Cheli's has better food. Though you will get your drinks faster at Harry's. |

Not bad. Is the Michigan theater parking Secure? I like the idea that it is out of the way for traffic leaving the game and it's easy to jump right on the Lodge off Bagley |

Don't forget about Trolley Plaza garage. It's only $6, by Bookies and within walking distance. I'd go with Harry's for food and atmosphere over Cheli's...though the nachos at Cheli's kick ass! |

Harmonie, I agree I love the nachos. I haven't had much food at Harry's, so they are probbaly both good for food. The staff is much better at Harry's. Of course, you can't beat Cheli's rooftop deck. I have never parked at Michigan Theatre before a game. |

sharmall = tool if you're looking to take a shuttle I would hit up nemo's. otherwise, 727 planner had a good suggestion with Grand Circus Underground. I usually walk, but when I do drive I almost always find on street parking on broadway (in front of the Y), or on washington blvd., by bookies. |

I vote for Grand Circus Underground, too! I miss the $5 bargain but $10 isn't bad. The surface lot across the street was $35 for a Lions pre-season. OK, so we walk a whole extra block...it's well worth it!! |

I always park at Compuware, go to the Hard Rock, have a beer and they validate the parking stub. Its not a bad walk, right through Harmonie Park. You can also take the people move to get a little closer. For the Lions this is a great spot. |

Can parking be validated for the parking stucture that is where Hudson's used to be? Is the compuware parking just the structure or is the old hudson's building parking part of it? |

One question per thread buddy. If you ask this many questions about parking I can't wait to see what your other exciting threads are going to be like.

Harry's food is incredible, never have been served a bad meal there. You mf's crack me up. I'm talking with my friend coming into town for his glorious Packers against the Lions, and suggested walking from Eastern Market. He says, what, that's like a MILE isn't it?! I did that every day on my way to school for twelve years...uphill both ways...often in snow over my shoulders. All with a smile...at least on the way home. |
