I was trying to take a look at the classifieds on line the other day to see what sort of car deals there were and didn't see any where to click on either at freep.com or detnews.com

While back in Detroit last spring it seemed like there were better deals on cars there than here in Cal.

Anyone ever been able to check out classified ads on line in said papers?

The sites have links across the top and along the right side for classified ads. They lead to www.marketplacedetroit.com

You'll probably have much better luck using autotrader. Try autotrader.com. With the daily's declining subscriber numbers, more people are advertising in the dedicated sales mags and on the internet. People have definitely shifted their classified ads away from the papers.
