I walk by this parking garage everyday and noticed that it has a plaque that says Union News and Cigar Company on it. it is located across from the Comerica bank operations center on Lafayette and Cass and is a like pastel blue/green color. Was this old garage a factory or print press? Anyone know the history?

The garage has been a garage since forever. The "Union News & Cigar Company" is the name of the little party store located inside of it.

Interesting garage. It has a dual ramp system, one going up, another going down, one over the other. It sounds simple in print, but it's a complicated design that I've never seen repeated.
