Awesome work Don! It's hard to believe how fast its all gone up, and just how huge MGM is. Will the site be updated monthly then? (on a two month delay, of course ) |

Yes, I'll update every month (with a two month delay) All three casinos are going to look awesome when completed. Sure would like to see the rendering of GreekTown. They are being very hush hush. Thanks. |

Are there any renderings lmich? I tried getting on emporis, which I know you contribute to, but for some reason I can't bring the site up today. I searched the forum to find a thread with this on it. I remember someone said its about 3 floors shorter than this rendering. |

That would fit nicely in the skyline, especially in the low density east side of downtown. |

Andy, I'm trying to get authorization from the owners to post what they gave me. As you know, the casino are being extremely secretive about their plans, and I wouldn't post anything without their permission. If I can't, it looks like the most recent rendering posted by Toog. There are quite a few spots in the hotel tower facade that "pop" out of the frame. (Message edited by lmichigan on September 28, 2006) |

No THAT'S a good looking building (Toog's pic)... Much nicer than the Motory City design, which is a little ridiculous IMHO |

I actually prefer the rendering of the building Andy posted. The way the massing of the building is divided up, and some of the detailing seems to work better with the turn of the century buildings that comprise most of greektown, IMHO. |

Thanks Andyguard, I've saved that image for latter. It's amazing how some of you people can find these images and facts. Ras: Duly noted and thank you. When I was inside Hudson's (contractor said "your on your own")I was only able to see the two basement floors as the water was rather smelly deep and being pumped out. |
