Will this mean the end of the Spitfires?

It wouldn't happen. Windsor has too small a market to support two teams.
The Ice Track Arena will not hold an AHL team either as AHL teams are the farm clubs for the NHL. The Red Wings will not allow a different farm team to be in their territory. Besides, the AHL has already been contacted and they told the reporter that it is an absolute NO, that they do not have any AHL teams that are locating to this area (please dismiss Cincinatti's AHL team even though they are shopping for a new city).

Goat,

Would you like to make a comment? LMAO

On another I said I stand corrected. However, This is still "conditional" on many aspects. Not only that but the survival rates of AHL teams in Canadian markets is pretty poor.
If it does come to fruition, I bet they last 5 years max. Don't forget that this is a saturated market already.

Rasputin would call this "back pedaling."

Rasputin would also call it "white man's solidification of their attempt at supremacy."
Who gives a schitt what Rasputin thinks? Besides I already said I stand corrected. At least I can admit when I am wrong unlike most up in here.
