The Tigers recent success has me fired up for baseball again. These are some slides that I took at the old ballpark on August 23, 1978, when the Tigers celebrated the 10th Anniversary of their 1968 World Championship.

You're right eastside, that is the Brewers (it must have been August 27 '78 and a 9-5 loss). However, that is Alan Trammell (old english D and home whites).

I'm guessing that is the GM Jim Campbell on the other ends of the grip-and-grin handshakes.

And, wow, I forgot how ugly those leisure suits were, even a well cut one like the lean Willie Horton's.
