I know it's early in the season, but has anyone been checking out these past few preseason games. New blood Flip Murry, and Jason Maxiell are both looking pretty impressive so far. Ben's defensive presence will be missed, but I'm pretty optimistic with the new folks. What's anyone else think?

Maxiel has been playing like a beast and I hope he gets a spot in the rotation. Delfino has also been decent so far I hope he can contribute offensively off the bench consistently. And actually I dont think we are going to miss ben all that much because in the game against Miami, Mohammed played awesome offensively and on defense. This will be one of the more exciting years just because its so unpredictable.

Amir Johnson, another vote. I think this kid is the real thing and he looks like he grew another two inches and put on muscle.

Jason Maxiel lost pounds and is looking awesome.

[Zumaya and Verlander of the Pistons?]

Stay tuned.
