I never got carded at the Bronx, but I think most of the times I went, WSU wasn't in. So I dunno.

Depending on who is playing, Oslo is often 18+.

I believe that if the establishment serves food, it is classified as a cafe and therefore underage can get in. There may be a late night time limit on that, not sure. You can certainly get into my fav, the Cass Cafe.

Right, check out any micro brewery, Detroit Beer Company, Stoney Creek / Atwater, or even Slows. They’re are all restaurant / pubs, so you can hang out, have a coke and dinner, and no one should mess with you unless you try to by a drink that is. Far as clubs, isn’t altered State still let people under 21 in? I wouldn't wanna go there though, too much testosterone for my liking. St. Andrews still does the 3 floors of fun too, give them a call about under 21 getting in. Years back when I was under 21, I just went to Windsor. Not been back to hang out since I turned 21.

If they are under 21, maybe they should hang out at the mall instead of bar-hopping in the D.

Of course, I just turned 42 so maybe it's my bitterness talking.

What's that famous saying "youth is wasted on the young."

What about hanging out in Windsor where 19 is standard age for sin? I know it's not New Center or midtown but it's only a 10 minute drive away.

Most of the time, The Works, Corktown, Alvins, and Oslo are all 18+. If you like loud boring music through shitty sound systems, Harry's is the hot spot for WSU students.
