Hi everyone, I was wondering whether the orange/redish brick used in many of Detroit's historic mansions is a particular kind of brick, or just a standard kind of brick. I do not know much about building and construction. Examples of the color brick I am referring to would be the Ransom Gillis House, many of the other Brush Park mansions, and the old house on Trumbull Street that collapsed recently, and which has been the subject of another thread. |
