Guerrilla Idol 4

Comet Bar
128 Henry
Cass Corridor - Detroit
Friday, May 18 2007 - 9:30pm

It’s that time again. Get ready for Guerrilla Idol 4!

Join us Friday night at 9:30pm at the Comet Bar for karaoke!

Yes, karaoke.

We’ll be heading over to one of the most obnoxious dive bars in Detroit, the Comet Bar. It’s kind of like stepping into downtown Hudsons’ Christmas window displays… only trashy… and with booze.

Comet Bar has a fairly decent selection of songs spanning every decade and genre, so you’ll be sure to find something that suits you. Don’t worry, though, there won’t be an official panel of judges critiquing you. And you won’t have to sleep with anyone to get a chance to sing… unless you want to, that is.

And, of course, you don’t have to sing if you don’t wish to.

So muster up some courage and bring yourself and some of your friends Friday night. You’ll have a great time. We promise. And if you don’t, we’ll give you oral pleasures. Okay, maybe we won’t. But we’re sure you’ll have a great time, nonetheless.

Comet Bar is located in the Cass Corridor, just around the corner from Harry’s. You’ll be able to distinguish it by the Christmas lights on the outside. Parking is on the street, but sometimes we like to park at Harry’s lot and just walk over. Shhh!

It can get a little crowded in there on a Friday night, but if it gets too crowded, there’s always a back outdoor area, too. And we’re pretty sure they won’t turn anyone away. One thing to know, though… Comet Bar does not accept credit cards. So bring some cash because their ATM isn’t very reliable. On the plus side, their drinks are really cheap! See you there!

Gay people don't belong in DetroitYES or the world. Tim Hardaway said so and he is a hero to these people.
