Just received word that the BG Dads Club is sponsoring an All Bishop Gallagher-Trinity Catholic High School Alumni Picnic on Saturday, July 7, 2007, 11am, at Salter Park right next to the school.

All you are asked to bring is a dish to pass and your own lawn chairs. The Dads will be providing hot dogs and pop. Please pass this on.

Questions may be directed to Contact Alumni Director Kathleen Hemmen Carlson (BG '66) at rcckac <at> comcast.net

Kathleen,
Do you think there's going to be a good turnout? I graduated in '76 and I'd be interested in seeing some people.

No idea how big or small this event will be. I just heard about the picnic a couple days ago. Then received an email from our Class of '75 President about it.

The best thing to do is put the word out to your fellow alumni and encourage them to attend.

BTW...my sister graduated BG '76!

Kathleen, What year did you graduate? I have 3 brothers and a sister who went there also. Their graduation years were, (I think), 70, 72, 74, and 79.

I graduated '75 and had two sisters and two brothers after me: '76, '77, '79, and '82. Our last name is Young.

I think I know you. Did you used to hang around with Sue Ploe? Our last name is Herman.

There were some that went to St. Matthew. I think they spelled their name Hermann. I knew Sue Ploe from when she worked at Daly's. I used to hang around there. My family went to Queen of Peace.

So your older brother Mark was class of '74, right? And you're Steve...

Sue and I are best friends still to this day.

Haven't heard much about this since the initial email I received. I can't make it as I will be out of town on vacation. Hope they have a decent turnout and a lot of fun!!

My posting knowledge is limited. What does it mean when someone writes "bump"?

It is a way of bringing a thread to the top of the list....when you have nothing to add to the discussion but want to bring it to the attention of others who might.

So how was the picnic? Anyone??
