I imagine the casinos have to be putting something big together. Nothing on their websites.

We'll be at the Joe for the hockey game. Then back home where it is warm and cozy to catch Dick Clark and his rockin' eve!

Is Dick Clark still doing that gig anymore? I know he was hospitalized for a bit and Regis Philbin & Ryan Seacrest filled in for awhile. I'm hoping to see America's oldest teenager go at it once again. The man's been an institution!

Dick really isn't "rockin", but it is still good to see him. He suffered from a stroke several years ago but still makes a go of it New Years in New York. As my Grandma said. "Bless his heart."

I'm just curious about HOW Dick Clark is going to participate now that he's getting up there in years now. I remember he used to be out on the streets in Times Square with headset on. I guess I'll have to check him out this time around now. And yes, "Bless his heart!".

I will work in my law office in the Guardian Building til 2 PM,walk over to the Dime Building for a hair cut with Sammy the Barber, get some guitar strings at Grinnells, buy a Lionel box car at Downtown Train and Hobby, watch the news at the Telenews Theatre, pick up a pair of shoes at Fyfe's, meet my wife under the Kern's clock, exchange a Christmas present at Hudson's,have a Hummer at the Motor City Bar in the Book Cadillac, light a candle at St. Al's on the Blvd, pick up a Michigan sweat shirt at Griswold Sporting Goods, then it's off to Carl's Chop House for a steak dinner, next a cab ride up to Olympia for the (traditional) Red Wings game (Harry Lumley in goal), catch the last floor show at the Willis Show Bar, then downtown again for a cup of Joe at the Statler. Home by 3.
"But Only In My Dreams" as the song goes.

Thank you guys, but I had the ladies of the group look at the event at The Fillmore. And, they are set on that one. You know the saying "as long as mommas happy, everyone is happy." Yeah, I'm not gonna try and deter her from her plans if that makes sense!

But thanks for the invite!

Hey Rock,

Uh, you get all that done in one hour? Do you still see Sammy? I've been getting my haircut there for a while now. I got my cut yesterday, but I plan on swinging by for cocktails next week.
