Shores Inn on Mack n 9 mile in St Clair Shores has 36 oz. BOOMBA's of domestic draught beer for $2.99. Works out to less than a dollar for 12 oz. And if you sit on the patio, you won't have to worry about your beer going warm. And you might even see me out there!

If you are that thirsty and frugal, by a case of beer and sit at home and drink. Either that or go to the Temple, like Sharmaal suggested.

I remember when a bottle of Strohs was 50 cents at the Pink Pony on Mackinac Island. Yes, pricey Mackinac Island.
Come to think of it, that was in 1956.

Speaking of Strohs, does anyone bar have it on tap anymore? Gilbert's Lodge in St Clair Shores did until about 4-6 months ago. My girlfriend hates when I drink that stuff due to the famous strohs flatulence, but it tastes soooo good out of the tap, imho.

J_Stone,

I've been to the Temple bar before a few White Stripes concerts at the Masonic. After a pitcher of Milwawkee's Best, I started to realize something was a little bit different about the bar. A quick scan of the place and I realized that all the couples were of the male variety. LOL Still a cool place, awesome jukebox, and well worth checking out. Oh yeah, one more thing, when the door doesn't open, it's because they gotta buzz you in.
