Some out of town friends are having a gathering at the Park tonight as well, so this works for me. Wish other elements of my life came together this easily. |

We got there a bit late, but it was nice to see Gannnon, Cub, Rel and Downriviera again. As usual, the schwarma was awesome. Good conversations as well.

I lurked here for over two years before I made my first post, so I understand your nervousness! Please don't be shy next time, come on over and introduce yourself!
We are passionate for Detroit:in this day and age, "she" (no sexism implied) needs someone to speak for "her", as the current administration and those who would step up and save what is left have all but apathetically fled and are no where to be found. I believe, therefore, that it is up to us.
It has to start somewhere.
Next time you come out to an FSC, let us know what you think by stepping up and introducing yourself. It would be nice to make your acquaintance! |

We need one of those screaming BRIGHT orange flags on a high stick that tour groups and bicyclists use to identify ourselves, lol.
I had a good time seeing the regular folks, and had a stimulating conversation with DownRiviera about his business plans.
Every time I see DetroitYes'ers in person, talk to them and share ideas, I have renewed positive feelings about the City and the dynamic directions in which we are all heading. Looking forward to the next one. |
