Django! Un petit jeu des mots tres astucieux, tres bien! That is weird and sad about that man who was killed. Really horrible, whatever the motive. Poor guy, and his poor partner. Hey Crew, nice to see ya! |

Sometimes gay is just a state of mind - anyone can post here if they post in the spirit of acceptance, friendliness and mutual understanding. But we might talk about some gay stuff so no complaining if we do. This thread is technically all-gay all the time! Of course the gay forum members still need to represent! |

My best friend of 24 years is gay (wish he wasn't living in Florida dammit). Anywho, Mary and his girlfriends pretty much told me I'm a gay man trapped in a womans body...I take this as a huge compliment! Does this earn me any Princess points? By the way, anyone catch the new season of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List last night? |

To host such a thread, you need a snappy tag line Supergay. Might I suggest single/thin/neat-atcha. |

I'm not gay, but some of my lesbian friends wish I was. Can I have some Princess points, please? Or is lesbian different? |

Fabulous and fierce here. If I make it back to the D this summer I would love to meet some of the resident DYes Lavenders. I enjoy your blog, SG. |

The Dyes Lavenders, lol. Kinda like a modern-day Purple Gang, but with hairdryers instead of guns. My gay best friend gave me clearance to check in, SG. Very sad he is leaving the state. I need a new one! So, REL checking in. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay *snaps fingers* |

Ok, I figured this has got to be the perfect thread to get some great birthday present suggestions. My best friend in FLA, mentioned previously, turns 40 at the end of this month. To give you an idea as to how he occasionally feels about this he has referred to being in his "male-menopause-mid-life-crisi s" and has stated that "40 in gay years is like 90 to the rest of the world". Yes, he can be a bit of a drama queen, but usually it's done just for laughs. Over the past year and 1/2 he has lost a lot of weight and looks fantastic; truly, he is looking hot. So much so that he told me of a recent fling with a guy that looked like he just stepped out of a Tom of Finland illustration -- he claims this is the first time anyone that good looking has come his way. He has also decided to fulfill his "gay destiny" by becoming a hairdresser (he starts classes at the Paul Mitchell school in July). So what do you get a fabulous, late-blooming diva who is reaching a milestone birthday and who is just now figuring out what he really wants to do with the rest of his life? I thought about some professional hair shears, but I wouldn't know what to get and I hear they can be pretty expensive (I really can't afford to spend more than $100 right now - and that's pushing it) Your suggestions would be very much appreciated. Yay Austinjohn! Thursday, what about a nice tote for your friend to carry his blow dryer, brushes, etc in? A pair of comfortable shoes. He'll be standing alot. Gift certificate for a foot massage? That's all I have. |

A pair of comfortable shoes? This is a gay man we're talking about, not a lesbian! Thursday, let me ruminate on this. |
