Huge fun tonight with Jason and the Punknecks, some of the most energetic entertainers I've witnessed in a long while...honest and genuine Americana in extreme action. Imagine the musical equivalent of a Jagerbomb speed-drinking game. They dropped into the Cafe 1923 Open Mic a few months back and blew us all away...came back through town earlier in the week ahead of this gig, and knocked us out again at last night's Open Mic.
