I'm trying to find red cedar scalloped shake for a rehab project. Anyone know where to find it locally?

Thanks

If you're talking about the rounded, fish-scale looking type of cedar shake, Shakertown makes it.
http://www.shakertown.com/fanc y_cuts.html

Their dealer list indicates mostly lumber yards in the outer-burbs, Northville, Waterford, etc.
Don't know where you're located, but if nearer to the City or east-side, Van Zanen Lumber in Fraser is a solid lumber yard that can assist w/ special order items like this; I've purchased Shakertowns from them in the past.

Enjoy. Post a picture when you're done w/ the install.

I thought this was about a new drink at Sonic.

Closest one I could find. Does anyone know if you can transport wood across the border?

Thanks guys....I appreciate it. I've also heard through the grapevine that Brooks Lumber and Auburn Lumber can order it as well. Not cheap though!

Whats the name of that little lumber yard behind City Scrap on St Aubin just north of Mack. They seem to handle special orders like that.
