Hey guys. I'm looking for the Aussie product of Vegemite. It's a spread that the Aussie's put on bread, toast, etc. It's not like butter, as I think they put both on. It's owned by Kraft. Just wondering if anyone knows of any place in the metro area that sells it. Thanks!

Aren't all the Cost Plus stores gone? If not, where is one? I like to buy stocking stuffers there

Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,

"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich
And he said,

"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

Lying in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the land of plenty?"
And he said,

"Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

Me too. I thought it went "women roar and men thunder". Hmm.

You're welcome, Dtown. :-)

I went to Meijer's and Holiday Mkts in RO. Neither had it, but at Holiday someone came in earlier in the day asking for it.

Is Vegemite the same as Marmite? I bought a jar of that a few months ago at the Kroger's on Greenfield & Michigan Ave - I found it in the International Foods aisle.

Ray, no that was alcohol as she got drunk off of it. My parents said the exact same thing!

Marmite is the British/South African equivalent.
