I am looking for a decent finish carpenter/contractor for my brother. He is restoring an 1836 farmhouse on Grosse Ile. He needs someone right away who does a good job and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Recommendations? Thanks! |

I am familiar with Craigslist - but I am looking for personal recommendations.

They could be Danes or Swedes, but then I would have to pay them with a Czech. Just to let you know, "finish" means that they can hang doors and build cabinets. "Finnish" means that they are from Finland -there's a difference. |

My neighbor does great work. He takes pride in the craft...He is usually a bit expensive but very honest and legit.
