I know Pizza Papalis is known for their deep dish pizza, but I absolutely love their thin crust.

To me, the Pizza Place on Ford Road just west of Southfield in Dearborn has really good thin crust pizza for carry-out. It's halal, if that matters to you.

I like Roma's in southgate... (Downriver on Eureka Rd.) Their Extra Special is to DIE for! Not to be gross or nothing, but if you eat enough of it. you'll have to drink a gallon of water to go to the john afterward. hehe.. :-)

I dunno what classification of pizza it is but The Buzz Bar makes the best pizza in the state in my opinion. The ingredients are good/fresh and they have half off pizza days!

I like Nikki's in Greektown, though it is expensive.

If you're looking for places that deliver, the best I have found is New York Pizza and Subs on the SW side. Just ordered a great 12-inch sub for $6 from there last night and it was surprisingly good.
Sicily's, on Vernor on the SW side, is all right, but not great. It does have good pasta, lasagna, etc., though.

I second Spaceboykelly, although with reservations on their Detroit Style Coney Island pizza, that is just wrong in my book.

For some, caught in the middle of two people trying to agree on a place to eat, it might be a good compromise. For me, I'll enjoy coney's, just NOT as a pizza topping!!

Every other pizza choice I've tried at the Buzz was off the charts great.

We like Uncle Pauls Thin Crust in Grosse Pointe Woods almost to St Clair Shores. We have been eating pizza from there for over 20 years. Gosh, I'm getting old! Thanks for making me do the math and realizing those years are adding up.

Believe it or not but I've always fancied the old America's Pizza Cafe thin crust. It was the snootier version of Little Caesars back in the day. It's actually pretty good, but then thinking thin crust pizza always makes me think of some of those oven stoked places in New York City like Lombardi's.

Ja1mz, that picture is from the 60s. Were in the 2000s. That pizza is considered what we call "trifulling" in today's society.

Demarko's on Schaefer north of Ford Road has good pizza. Just before the underpass, way better than Roma's. Their steak and cheese sub is excellent.

The Chef boy ardee pizza above would be illegal nowadays, you could use that like a weapon.

i get sgt pepperoni's a lot, its close by and the sauce is really good and spicey. they are kind of inconsistant on the cook times though, i've had well undercooked, and well overcooked on multiple occasions

The Chef Boy r Dee kits are fun to make with the kids, but with the fund raiser pizza kits the end result is much better. I can't belive they still sell the Chef Boy R Dee ones...

Pasquale's is garbage I think... Detroit Beer Co. has great pizza along with Primo's Pizza on Adams in Birmingham.

Vince's is really good. The new pizza place on Second - Piesanos - is pretty good, too. Motor City Brewery's new pizza oven is supposed to be up and running soon...

Tomatoes Apizza in Farmington Hills is the best thin-crust pizza I've ever had, but it's not for everyone. Very thin crust. 14 Mile Rd. and Middlebelt.
