So the Brod... Tower used to be the Eaton Tower. Nice postcards.

Here's one of the pics that shows the Broderick (Eaton) Tower and Whitney Buildings before their tops were "modernized":

A nice view of Campus Martius with the original location of the Merrill Fountain, and the Majestic Building which sadly came down to build 1001 Woodward:

This is looking up Woodward from Jefferson towards the old Ponchartrain Hotel of 1907-16 (with the cool Mansard roof). It was torn down in 1922 for the First National Building that is still there today facing Campus Martius. Talk about a short life span!!

And here's an interesting view of the Tuller/United Artists block. Looks like a Church used to occupy the corner of Park Ave. & Bagley facing GCP. This is where the newer half of the Tuller Hotel was built:
