I have a few yearbooks from the late 50s for Highland Park High School and one from 1957 for St. Leo's. They were about to go out to trash and I was wondering if anyone here would be interested.

The Burton collection at the Detroit Public Library actively collects high school yearbooks. Why not call them up and see if they need yours?

Yes, do that! One hundred years from today some great great grandson will thank you beyond words. Believe me.

That's an excellent idea! I hadn't thought of the Burton collection. Initially I was thinking maybe somebody on this site went to those schools and would be interested, but donating to the library may be a better option. I just couldn't bear seeing them put out on the curb for trash pick-up.

You might also sell them on ebay. I see old, and not so old, high school yearbooks there a lot.
