I recently asked for auto insurance quotes and was disappointed. When I use my home zip, 48207, the quote is $2500/yr. When I use my work zip, 48187, Canton, the quote is $1150/yr. Is there a company that doesn't double the rates for Detroiters? Did anyone get a flyer from Farmers in the last month touting normal insurance rates in Detroit and follow up on it yet?
