It's for sale, and only minutes from downtown.

It looks like a great place to have a bonfire party.

Is THAT the one over near the Capuchin Soup Kitchen that they just cleared?!

I noticed a bunch of trees felled in a fenced-in lot over near there the other day.

West side near 7@ Telegraph where the large yards are along the rouge. Or any where near the rought where the land is sloped like that and there are larger irregular lots near the flood plains and parks?

Well, Flyby doesn’t see trash piles and old tires strewn about so I’m going to guess it’s not in Detroit proper.

How about the fenced in Nature Center on the far east side between Marquette Elementary School to the north, and Balduck Park to the south and west.

This Nature Center is along Canyon St. a block west of Moross Ave.

You are all good guessers, but low and behold we have a winner:

You may clam your prize from the Realestate office.

There is a lot of history on that land. It was the location of a speak easy called the pines during prohibition. I have an article about it in a heritage magazine, but I don't know where it is right now. Mikem, you got my back?
