What this article have to do with Detroit? So far there are no other sources that like a Chicago based company to develop homes, lofts and condos to our ghettohoods.

The article and your thread is NON SEQUITUR!

quote:

“We are confident that the plans that you’ve laid out are realistic and achievable. And we are determined that Chicago will continue to show the way to renewing all of America’s cities,” he told an audience of neighborhood planners.

So confident, in fact, that The MacArthur Foundation is kicking in another $4 million to replicate the “Chicago model” in 10 other locations. They include: Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis-St. Paul.

non sequitur (non sek-w<<schwa>>-t<<schwa>>r). [Latin "it does not follow"] 1. An inference or conclusion that does not logically follow from the premises. 2. A remark or response that does not logically follow from what was previously said.

Black's Law Dictionary (8th ed. 2004)

Arguing the meaning of non-sequitur is a non-sequitur to this thread.

Haha, Johnlodge.

Non-sequitor or not...

Is it 4 mill per city or total divided by ten? Either way, Detroit is getting help, we should celebrate! Anyone up for painting over graffiti????
