John's memorial service will be tonight at Perry Funeral Home on Trumbull near W. Warren across from the WSU football field at 6pm.
John died suddenly in March at age 58 outside of his business AAA Picture Frame Co that was located in the basement of John King Books on Cass and I-94. (His business was previously located on Grand River across from Carl's Chop House.)
John, who resembled Jerry Garcia, was a frequent figure at Detroit festivals. He was known on occasion to pull out his harmonica while out drinking. |
