For all you theatre lovers!! CURTAIN CALL: Ghost Theaters of Detroit Photography Of C. H. Carroll C. H. Carroll, local photographer, presents a series of pictures of Theaters throughout Detroit. Showing these theaters in their current states of decay will hopefully bring back the memories of these beautiful buildings and art houses which were gems of their cities at one time. And seeing them in a theater that was up until now thriving in the art starved State of Michigan, can spark some hope into not letting our current theaters like the Detroit Repertory, the Gem and Williamston theaters, just to name a few, from suffering the same fate! Opening Night Gala begins at 8p on Saturday June 9. Doors will be open on Saturday afternoons from 12p-5pm through the end of June. http://www.theabreact.com/ |
