The Detroit Sandlot Baseball Club is a group of mediocre ball players who play pick-up, sandlot-style baseball (no, not softball) in Detroit. Everyone is welcome to come out and play regardless of skill level. Some of us are pretty decent; some of us are pretty bad. Games are laid back, fun, and non-competitive (okay, sometimes they get slightly competitive). We use only wood bats and are sometimes forced to use rules such as "right field out", "pitcher's hand", or employ the mysterious "ghost runner". Whether you used to play baseball and are feeling nostalgic or are just interested in having fun and grabbing a beer afterwards, the Detroit Sandlot Baseball Club is where it’s at.
