After seeing all the number of "Save Rackham" signs all over everybody's yard in Huntington Woods, I'd say the citizens have spoken. |

So they will run and operate the course and not develop it? |

The assumption all along was that if HW purchased the course they would operate/maintain it as a golf course... |

Anyone want to start a pool on how long this drags out? This is a city "jewel" afer all. I'm sure the usual suspects will vote against the sale...especially as to the revenue from the cell towers. |

Great news! I couldn't celebrate this good news for Rackham Golf Course without a link to the legendary Ben Davis: http://michigangolfer.tv/2005s hows/davis/index.html As of last year, he was still around and playing the game regularly. Glad his course will be around for many years to come. |

quote:Patrick So they will run and operate the course and not develop it? The course has to stay as parkland or it reverts to the Rackham heirs. The Woods will run a first rate facility at Rackham. |
