After seeing all the number of "Save Rackham" signs all over everybody's yard in Huntington Woods, I'd say the citizens have spoken.

The assumption all along was that if HW purchased the course they would operate/maintain it as a golf course...

Anyone want to start a pool on how long this drags out? This is a city "jewel" afer all. I'm sure the usual suspects will vote against the sale...especially as to the revenue from the cell towers.

I couldn't celebrate this good news for Rackham Golf Course without a link to the legendary Ben Davis:

The course has to stay as parkland or it reverts to the Rackham heirs. The Woods will run a first rate facility at Rackham.
