I've noticed the sign for Mario's on Woodward has been removed. Whether purposely or by accident is a mystery to me, what's left of its post is bent at an egregious angle. It could be preparation for the Willis development. Sorry no pics. | ||

I saw a story about it on Channel 4. The sign was removed because a new building is being built there. There might have been some kind of leasing issue as well. Mario's is hoping to put a sign up above a nearby party store but they have to apply for a permit and regulations have changed. | ||

I have to say that sign confused me the very first time I was trying to actually go to Mario's. That location has a lot of one way streets and Second stops and starts down there so much, it took me a bit to get to it! | ||
