does anyone have any idea what time the Parade starts tomorrow at Michigan and Trumbull. The paper only lists the time on Woodward, but not when the marchers and trucks are scheduled to start down Michigan to hook up with the marchers on Woodward? |

They usually both start at 9, go over to the Teamster HQ on Trumbull and find a spot. Or go to the IBEW on Abbott and Porter, you can get a cup of coffee and a doughnut first. Otherwise be at Woodward and Hancock for the main body of the parade. |

I have the flier for the parade. Staging is on the west side of Woodward between Warren and Mack, beginning at 7:30 AM. The parade begins at 10 AM and ends at Campus Martius. Solidarity, Brothers and Sisters! |

I believe that next year will mark the 60th anniversary when Harry Truman came into town and addressed a huge Labor Day crowd downtown in front of old City Hall. The crowd that day rivaled St. Peter's Square in Rome! |
